We have already spoken to you about many benefits of matcha, especially its high antioxidant content which allows it to strengthen the immune system.
In the recipe we are offering you today, developed with @maiacha_, another superfood joins this fine powder of green tea leaves.
What is a superfood?
Generally used to designate foods with health benefits, a superfood is by definition a food very rich in nutrients, antioxidants or vitamins. This is the case, for example, with goji berries, chia seeds, ginseng and even turmeric.
Also present in our recipe in powder form, turmeric, also known as Indian saffron, is an orange-yellow spice that is used to make curry.
It is the main molecule of turmeric, called curcumin, which gives it this distinctive color and which makes it one of the five most antioxidant foods on the planet. Essential in Ayurvedic medicine, turmeric has anti-inflammatory properties and is recommended for rheumatism.
