  • Pour 1 teaspoon of matcha (about 2 g) in a bowl using a chashaku (bamboo spoon).
  • Add 75 ml of hot water (between 70 and 80°).
  • Hold the chasen (bamboo whisk) with two fingers and mix it matcha by moving the forearm. Foam and bubbles will form.
  • Squash any bubbles on the surface by mixing more slowly.
  • Form a Z on the foam and raise your whisk in a vertical motion.

  • In a bowl or cup, pour 3 spoons of matcha premium (between 3 and 5 g).
  • Add a tablespoon of hot water (between 70 and 80°).
  • Mix everything with a chasen.
  • Pour another tablespoon of hot water.
  • Mix again, without whisking, forming a figure eight.
  • Make sure you get a smooth texture without bubbles.
  • Drink: you will feel all the aroma of matcha in the mouth.

How to prepare tea matcha creamy without whipping?
