Frequently asked questions

Can I use my gift card with a promotional code or during a sale?

Yes. A gift card is a payment method, not a promotional offer. You can use it to pay for purchases that already have a discount, including those with a promotional code or sale price.

Can delivery charges be paid with a gift card?

Yes. You can use a gift card to pay for your entire order, including delivery charges. The amount will be automatically deducted from the available balance on your gift card.

How can I check my gift card balance?

You can check your gift card balance in store. After making a purchase online, you can also see your remaining balance on the order tracking page, so you know how much you have available for your next purchases.

Can the gift card be refunded or exchanged?

No. The gift card cannot be refunded, exchanged or topped up. However, if the e-gift card was purchased online and has never been used, you have the right to cancel within 14 days of the purchase date.

Can my gift card be extended after it expires?

No. Once it has expired, the gift card can no longer be used. It cannot be extended, reactivated or refunded. Any unused balance is permanently lost.

What happens if an order paid for with a gift card is cancelled or returned?

Cancellation: not possible once you’ve received the confirmation email. Only the address can be changed, and only within 2 hours. Returns within 14 days: the terms and conditions state that a new gift card, valid for 1 year, will be issued. In practice, the money is refunded to the original gift card, which keeps its expiry date.
